The CantiChip8 features an array of eightr nanomechanical cantilevers as the active sensor elements. Each cantilever has been designed for sensitive detection of surface stress caused by molecular interactions on the cantilever surface. The cantilevers have integrated piezo resistors that combine ease of operation with outstanding sensitivity. The CantiChip8 works well with the CantiLab Pro or the CantiLab3D -  the instrument required for reading the signals from the CantiChip8 and controlling the fluidic system.
